Dave was born in Sunnyvale California to Bill and Irene (Stuvland) Tritch. He was one of 6 children, including his identical twin Don of Golden Valley, MN, Barb of Minnetonka, James of Elk Grove, CA, Jerry (Janet) of Northfield, MN, and nieces and nephews Cyndee Medicine Horse (Mike), Susan, Nathan (Nicole), Kenny, Caleb and Anna Tritch.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Patti and his mother-in-law Ann McCormick.
He worked for Delta for over 20 years and finished his career in the bio-medical department at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.
Dave enjoyed traveling the world for work and enjoyment. He and Patti took many wonderful trips together and created lasting memories.
He was a kind man, gentle and incredibly funny. He loved to cook and bake but most especially eat! Dave was a real foodie and traveling consistently to Asia gave him many opportunities and he didn't shy away from any of them. He is also known for his ability to gift the most perfect gifts, usually funny but sometimes sentimental.
His love for dogs was unmatched, he and Patti were never without at least one.
Dave is preceded in death by his brother Tom and parents Bill and Irene.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 14 at 11:00am at Washburn McReavy, 1400 Main Street Hopkins, MN 55343 with visitation beginning one hour prior.
Internment immediately following services at Woodside Cemetery in Shorewood, MN.
