Anderson, Stanley Carl

Born June 28, 1934 and at age 91 of Crystal, MN went Home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 5, 2026. He grew up in Minneapolis where he was active in Edison High School football and graduated in 1955. Preceded in death by parents, Jennie and Carl Anderson; wife Jean Eleanor May Lawson Anderson; son, Jeffrey Paul Anderson; sister and brother-in-law Marian and Curtis Lee; sister-and brother-in-law Patricia and Thomas Elsenpeter; son-in-law, John Owen Voxland; granddaughter, Lindsay Dee Anderson; and many lifelong friends and family. Survived by children: Scott (Sue O'Connell) Anderson of Clarendon Hills, IL, Jennifer (Edward) McVey of Naples, FL, and Janelle (Ebenezer) Voxland-Flomo of Crystal, MN; grandchildren: Emily (Will Kenney) Anderson, Keeley (Hans) Klingenschmitt, Maxwell Anderson, Ellie Gunn, Hattie (Ervey) Rodriguez, Alyssa (Shivam) Madaan, Adam McVey, Amy McVey, Oria Isilmë, Ashley Voxland, Anthony Voxland, Alia Voxland; and great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Klingenschmitt; William and Titus Gunn, Aila and Eva Rodriguez. He served God and country as Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class in the US Coast Guard (1955-1957) and proudly co-owned and operated Bill West Service Center on 57th Avenue in Brooklyn Center. He gave generously to many non profits and organizations near to his heart throughout his life. We give God praise for blessing us with Stan's life. He leaves us with a legacy of committing to keeping a servant's heart, loving and sharing Jesus, and living contently under God's perfect will. Stan was active with Silver & Gold, Hymn Sing, and Lunch Bunch at New Hope Church and with Golden Agers at Fourth Baptist Church. Visitation one hour prior to the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at New Hope Church (4225 Gettysburg Ave. N. New Hope, MN) Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5100 Douglas Drive, Crystal, MN)
