David Trott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Michaud Funeral Home & Crematorium - Wilton on Feb. 4, 2026.
David "Dave" Trott was born in Beverly Massachusetts to his mother Barbara (Waldie) Trott and his father George Trott.

Dave was an all-around funny guy with a bright smile and witty joke to follow it. Most knew him as a quiet and reliable man who was so proud of his family. He often spent his time going on walks around the neighborhood in his town of Amesbury; or spending time working out in his home gym. When he wasn't doing that, he was refurbishing antique crystal radios; his true passion to which he created 50+ dating back to the 1920's. Dave was a devoted catholic and prayed every day; now he is rejoined with his heavenly father.

He is survived by his daughter Emily LeBlanc and her wife Rosemary and his granddaughter Lyra LeBlanc; his stepdaughter Stacy Alberto and her husband Guillermo and his granddaughter Isabella Alberto; his twin sisters Janice Queijo and her husband Mark, Judy Welch and her husband Reid; along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

As he always said, "this too shall pass" and would want us all to share a couple of laughs together.

A celebration of life will be held around his birthday in the spring and there will be no calling hours.

I want to offer my sincere sympathies to all who were lucky enough to know and be touched by David´s love and friendship. I will always remember his dry humor and smile. I also have fond memories of how proud he was of his family and how much he loved them. May his love continue to live on through your memories. MJS

David always had incredible smile and could make anybody laugh, and I´ll always appreciate that he was very silly with me when we went flower picking in October. He was so fortune to enjoy all the cool things about Amesbury and make it his home. He always was thinking of his family and enjoying all his hobbies and my favorite thing, he would send me photos of all cool things he would find on his local walks. David will be greatly missed as he always have a place in our hearts.
