Kathy Lee Eckles

Kathy Lee (Balcom) Eckles, 71, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born March 10, 1954, in Nashua, NH to parents Pierre and Ruth (LaPonsie) Balcom.

Kathy was raised in Wilton and graduated from Milford High School. She worked several jobs over the years, most notably driving tractor trailers across the country and eventually, she opened her own driving school, Sharing the Road based out of Bedford, NH. Kathy could never sit still and was always busy, whether it was cooking, cleaning, or baking. She was always doing something. She loved to quilt and had made many beautiful quilts. Most of all, she loved being a Grammy to her five grandkids and loved any time she got to spend with them.

She is survived by her husband Blaine Eckles of Nashua, NH; her daughter Leah Mason and her wife Tanya Collins of Wilton, NH, Brandy Fiore-MacDonald and her husband Gregory of Nashua, NH; her sisters Trudy Yelton and her husband Don of Nashua, NH, Wendy Huckins and her husband Gregory of Weare, NH; her grandchildren Christian Fiore, Connor Fiore, Charlie Fiore, Jackson MacDonald, and Joseph MacDonald.

Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend a funeral service at Church of the Good Shephard, 214 Main St. Nashua, NH, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:30 pm. Following the service, there will be a gathering in the church hall.
