David Turner Obituary
SHELBY: David Albert Lee Turner Sr., 67, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Hospice of Wendover Shelby. A native of Cleveland County he is the son of Pauline Turner and the late DL Turner. He was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his grandchildren. With David it was never a dull moment.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his son, DJ Turner; and sister, Ann Johnson. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Turner of the home; sons, David Turner and wife Shandi of Casar and Chris Shasteen and wife Stacey of Shelby; sisters, Donnis Walker and husband Steve and Gail Finney and husband Billy; grandchildren, Haley, DJ, Malachi, Kristyn, Caydence, and Lily.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Friday, April 1, 2022, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
