David Gerald Usry Sr.

David Gerald Usry Sr., age 77, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on September 20, 2025.

David was a longtime resident of Biloxi. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army with the 9th Infantry Division APO 96370, and later dedicated over 30 years of service to the V.A. Medical Center in Biloxi. He was a past Post Commander of VFW Biloxi Post 2434, where he also served faithfully with the Honor Guard.

David enjoyed fishing, golf, pool, and bowling, and he cherished time spent with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt Usry and Jewell Baldwin (Marc).

He is survived by his son, David Gerald Usry Jr. and his wife, Patricia Williams Usry; his grandchildren, Austin David Usry and Amanda (Grey) Usry, Aiden Drew Usry, and Aaron Dean Usry; and his great-grandchild, Parker Haze Usry. He is also survived by his sisters, Nedra Baldwin of Biloxi, Stephanie (Ken) Minton of Biloxi, and Janis Baldwin of Biloxi; his brother, Marc (Kim) Baldwin of Biloxi; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11:00 - 12:00 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. A graveside service with military and VFW honors will follow at 12:30 pm at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
