8420 days.
That is the gift of time we were given with our beloved son & brother David Paul VanderVeen.
February 21, 2003 – March 12, 2026.
We will be laying David to rest on April 8th at Kings Mountain Preserve in Blacksburg, SC.David’s body will be placed in the ground earlier that day in a private time with family.
We invite each of you to join us at 2:00 PM as we gather at his resting place to remember together how wonderfully and uniquely God made David. Though our hearts are broken, we hold onto the hope we have in Christ and the promise that this goodbye is not forever — we will see him again in heaven.
After the service, we will share some of David’s favorite treats. Please bring a story or memory to include in his memory book.
The gathering will be casual, with a firepit, and will end with a short walk together as we visit his resting place and say goodbye for now, until we meet again.
Holland Funeral Service is serving the Vander-Veen family.
