Elizabeth Patricia Robinson of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, surrounded by family, at the age of 81. She was born July 2, 1944 in Monroe, NC to the late Martha “Patsy” and Seymour Davis and was the wife of the late Larry D. Robinson.
After graduating from West Mecklenburg High School, Elizabeth attended UNC Charlotte. She went on to be a secretary with the YMCA and a waitress until she became a full time caregiver for family. She was an avid animal lover, taking care of all kinds of strays and giving her own the best life possible. She spent most of her days watching her granddaughter play softball, either at the ball field or watching from her recliner on her iPad. She never missed a game. She loved going to see her son play in local bands or church as a drummer and going to yard sales and thrifting with her daughter.
She is survived by her children, Lance Emerson and Misty Emerson; stepson, Brian Robinson (Tina); granddaughter, Leaha Rushing; grandson, Tony Kiser; sister, Jo Ann Harkey (Jerry); and nephew, Jay Harkey (Marsha).
There will be a celebration of life at a later time.
In memory of Elizabeth, contributions may be made to Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health through the Spartanburg Regional Foundation.
