Mr. David Louis Verret Jr.

Mr. David Louis Verret Jr., of River Ridge, Louisiana, born on April 25, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Rita Verret and the late David Louis Verret Sr., passed away at age 78 on March 1, 2019 in Metairie, Louisiana. He was a Finance Manager at John Hancock until retiring in 2007. David was the loving husband of Linda Verret. He is survived by his sons, David Louis Verret and Daryl Verret; daughter, Cherie Verret; brother, Carol LeBouf; and grandchildren, Brittney Keupfleure, Caitlin Verret, and Blake Cazaux. He also leaves behind his dog, Truffles. David had a passion for hunting, fishing, and cooking. He was a supporter of Visiting Angels. Donations in David's name to Visiting Angels are welcome and appreciated. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service on Thursday, March 14 from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana, 70001. Following that, there will be a celebration of life from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1916 West William David Parkway, Metairie, Louisiana.
