David George Virtue, 78, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away on November 1, 2025. Born to William and Dora (Kropp) Virtue, David was a long-time resident of Florida and previously lived in Niles, Ohio. He relocated to Florida to enjoy the warmer climate.
David is survived by his wife, Janis Pfefferle Virtue; three children, Dee Furlan (Kevin), David William Virtue, and Dana Henderson Virtue; step-children, Ryan Bedard (Christine) and Kevin Bedard (Kimberly); five grandchildren, Nicki Oswald (Kainan), Taylor Alexander (Tim), Hunter Virtue, Kolton Furlan, and Carter Bedard; and five great-grandchildren, Brady Alexander, Abby Alexander, Ella Alexander, Rayne Oswald, and Luna Oswald.
Predeceased by his wife, Darlene (Gresley) Virtue, and son, Christopher Michael Virtue.
David held a master's degree from the University of Georgia and studied at Kent University. He had a distinguished career spanning 40 years, working as an auditor for General Electric, a manager at Chrysler Company, and a financial manager at several banks.
A loving and friendly individual, David enjoyed engaging in conversations with others.
