David Wade

David E. Wade was born on August 1, 1946 to the late Walter E. and Dorothy Strange Wade in Indianapolis. David passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the age of 79.

David lived in Taswell, IN and was a 55 year member of Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters. David was an avid fisherman, hunter, trapshooter, still board shooter and loved the outdoors.

David was a lifetime member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. He also served as the president of the Indiana Trapshooting Association in 2023.

David served in the United States Navy and was a member of the VFW in English, IN.

David is survived by his wife, Judy Judd Wade, brothers, Mark (Patti) and John, nephews, Clay (Shawn), Brian (Carey), Wade and Scott Salomez, nieces Kandee (Todd) Reed, Mistee (Jimmy) Potts and Peggy Smith and several great nieces and nephews.

David leaves behind family and friends who loved him dearly, even if we could never understand how someone could own so many bib overalls.

The family ask that you bait a hook, sit quietly in the trees or tell stories in his honor.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 4, from 3-7 EST and from 10 AM until 11 AM, Friday, December 5, 2025. The funeral service will be held at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN at 11 AM on Friday with Rev. Jim Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Veteran's Homes located in Leavenworth, IN. Donations can be made out to SIVLARF (Southern Indiana Veterans Living and Rehabilitation Facility).
