David Ward Obituary

David was born on December 27, 1936, in Lee's Summit, Missouri, the son of Montreville William and Charlotte Loraine (Wilhite) Ward. He graduated from Huntsville High School with the Class of 1954. Following his education, he worked for the railroad and also served in the National Guard.
David was united in marriage to Bonnie Kalinka on June 3, 1977. Though their paths later separated, they remained connected through their family. He was a longtime member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Darksville, Missouri.
David enjoyed farming alongside his brothers and treasured time spent with his son, Chris. David was always friendly and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Ward of Dalton, MO; stepchildren, Liz, Lloyd, and Tammy; sisters-in-law, Susan Ward and Jane Ward; ex-wife Bonnie, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charlie, Mont Jr., and Rick.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Huntsville City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, MO.
