DAVID DEWAYNE WASHINGTON III, born on September 11, 2006, was a vibrant and loving spirit who touched the lives of many during his time on earth. He passed away  on September 7, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of joy and laughter that will be cherished by those who knew him.

David was for his talent, ambition, and a wonderfully goofy personality that could brighten even the darkest of days. His love for football was matched only by being a motivator and hype man for his  teammates, friends and family, always encouraging others to strive for their best. As a loving protector, he brought comfort and support to those he cared for, showcasing a depth of character that was remarkable for someone so young.

The community will gather to celebrate David's life and the profound impact he had on those around him. A viewing will be held on September 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share their memories during this time.

Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, on September 21, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. This will be an opportunity for all who loved David to honor his memory and reflect on the joy he brought into their lives.
