LaCrecia Ayers, age 46, was born on October 9, 1979. She departed this life on February 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness. LaCrecia attended David W. Carter High School in Dallas, Texas, where she formed lasting friendships and memories. She attended New Friendship Church in Lancaster, TX.
LaCrecia had a heart that constantly reached for others. She always tried to make a difference and bring happiness to those around her. Even when she was carrying her own burdens, she still found a way to encourage someone else, offer support, or brighten someone’s day. That was simply who she was — loving, thoughtful, and giving.
Above all, LaCrecia loved her children with everything in her. Her son, D'Metric Kcardell Jones, and her daughter, Kimberly Nicole Jones, were her pride and joy. They were her motivation and her heart.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her mother, Regina Ayers Armstead; her husband, Tyrone Armstead; her beloved children, D'Metric Kcardell Jones and Kimberly Nicole Jones; her siblings, Demetress Ayers and Shamion Ayers; her stepbrothers, Cedric and Kevin; her grandmother, Mattie Johns; her special uncle, Marvin, whom she lived with; her dear neighbors, Mr. Gary and Mrs. Verna, whom she lovingly helped each day; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Barron Earl Graham; grandparents: Charlie L. Johns, Ray F. Ayers, and Etta Ayers-Smith.
LaCrecia’s presence was a gift to this world. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will never be forgotten. Her spirit will live on through her children and all who knew and loved her.
