David "Davey" Watson, 37, of Gig Harbor passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025 at his mother's home. Davey was born March 8, 1988 in a Naval hospital located on Agana, Guam. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Watson.
Davey grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. Attended Kopachuck middle school, Gig Harbor High, & Bates Technical College. Davey was a kind hearted soul, a sweet, loving, & free spirit. Charming wit with the ability to make anyone laugh. A passion for sports, growing up playing basketball & baseball. His most passionate, however, is when he discovered bmx riding. Through this, he was able to travel many parts of the world internationally & domestically. A one-of-a-kind on the bike, he was loved & made a huge impact in the BMX world.
He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, & fans of the BMX community. He is survived by his mom (Rose) & brother (John).
A celebration of life for Davey will be at his mother's home:

I know you probably don´t remember me but I use to babysit you and your brother. The 2 of you were my buddies. Fly high my friend and be at peace.
