David Webb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mosdell Mortuary on Dec. 21, 2025.
David Riley Webb, 77, of Conner, Montana, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Kanab, Utah, in the loving presence of family.
David was born on March 24, 1948, in Ohio, to Kenneth and Pauline Webb. He was a devoted father, husband, and family man whose steady presence brought comfort and peace to those around him. Kind-hearted, level-headed, and a big dreamer, David had a deep love for the West and the wilderness that called to his soul.
A devout Christian, David lived with a strong connection to God and a sound moral compass that guided his life. He spent most of his years in Marion, North Carolina, before fulfilling a lifelong dream of living out West, eventually making his home in Montana.
In his early life, David worked as a welder and carpenter, often working side by side with his father, Kenneth-also a welder by trade-and later with his brother Timothy, following his service in the United States Army. His work ethic, integrity, and humility were evident in all he did.
David found joy in simple and meaningful pursuits. He loved walking in the woods searching for arrowheads, playing guitar, and writing songs and poetry. Most recently, he had begun writing a book titled In the Circle of Light, with the first part published. He was a comfort to be around-always ready with a listening ear, a jovial laugh, a willingness to help, or a quiet, comforting presence when words were not needed.
David is survived by his wife, Tammy; his son, Jeremiah; his daughter, Jessica (Adam); his grandsons, Vincent, Liam, and Adrien; his sister, June (Terry); and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Webb; his mother, Pauline Webb; and his brothers, Daniel Webb and Timothy Webb.
A funeral and memorial service was held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Kanab, Utah.
David was a man of honor, honesty, kindness, and humility. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on through the many lives he touched during his earthly journey.
