David Wayne Weddle

David & Leslie were members of Spring Hill Baptist Church as one time. Great family. Sympathy to Leslie, Michael and family.

David was a veteran official in the Piedmont Valley Football Officials Association when I arrived. I learned quite a bit about officiating from Mr. Weddle. He was a good official, but an even better man ! God bless the Weddle family.

Over a number of years Dave chauffeured a bunch of us Hokie fans all over the eastern US to attend Va Tech football games and basketball tournament games. We shared a lot of interesting times together.

So sorry to hear of David's death. Enjoyed working with him many years at the post office. He chauffered us to many union events. He certainly made a difference volunteering in so many ways. GOD REST HIS SOUL.
