David Weigand Obituary
He was born March 5, 1956, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late John and Cleo (Simmons) Weigand.
David loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting. He was a retired employee from Ormet Corporation, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include a brother, John (Marilyn) Weigand Jr. of Proctor; a sister, Mary Ann (Wayne) Goddard of New Martinsville; 4 nieces and nephews John Weigand III, Sara (Eric) Chrisman, Christy (Dave) Neely, Danny (Nikkie) Goddard; 8 great nieces and nephews, Taylor, Avery, Kayla, Chloe, Hunter, Kole, Cash and Kyle.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 751 Third St, New Martinsville, WV, where Rosary Devotions will be recited Sunday at 7 pm.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 65 Frohnapfel Ln, Proctor, WV with Msgr. Kevin Quirk as celebrant.
Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Proctor, WV.
