David R. Weigel

David R. Weigel, 65, passed away on Christmas Eve. During a time of giving and celebration, David was called away from this earth. As an amazing giving soul, who always puts others first, we will always remember and cherish his giving spirit this time of year.

David's legacy will continue through his wife, Michele, his son Jack, and his stepdaughter Alex. He was loved by his extended family, his brother Johnathan, his stepsons, and countless friends that David considered his family.

David loved talking about his past adventures. He spoke about his multiple skydives, his golfing days, and great memories on his motorcycles. He spoke very highly of his time watching Jack play LaCrosse and Hockey, and going with Jack to see magicians such as Penn and Teller and David Copperfield. David also loved the Green Bay Packers.

David cherished experiences over material things and always wanted to travel, make memories, and create those experiences. He was able to travel to every state in the U.S. and traveled to Rome, Paris, London, and many more.

David was very proud of his past and his work with EMD Serono and when he retired two years ago he brought his brilliant business mind into his home and family and ensured that his loved ones were taken care of. His absence has left a void and he will never be forgotten.

The celebration of David's life will be on January 23rd at 2pm at Gilbert Memorial Park at 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ. 85297.
