He was a member of Green Castle Baptist Church, and Siloam Baptist Church in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
David is survived by his children, Vanetta Wells, David Leonard Wells, Jr. (Ursula); grandchildren, Tia Wells and Nadia Wells; siblings, Sarah Knight, Minnie Mann.
A memorial service in David's honor will be held at 12 noon, Friday, November 21, 2025 at A.D. Porter & Sons Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd.
