Roman Smith Obituary
His name, Roman, carries the meaning of strength and courage, and even in his brief life, he lived up to it. He reminded his family that every breath is a miracle and every moment a blessing.
Roman is deeply cherished by his parents, Michael Smith and Chloe Belotti, his Me-Me, Mechelle Porter, his siblings, Rylee, Sabian, and Zoie, his great-grandparents, Sharon Thomas-Porter and Alton McFarland, and his family, who held him close in every possible way. Though his life was brief, his presence changed the world for everyone who waited for him, prayed for him, and dreamed big dreams for him.
He was welcomed into heaven by his Pop Pop, Christopher Scott Smith, and Aunt Bella Rose, who now holds him in the place where love never ends.
A memorial service in Roman's honor will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at A.D. Porter & Sons Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd.
