David Bevan Westenskow

David Bevan Westenskow passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family in the early hours of Sunday March 1, 2026 in Riverton, Utah. Dave was born on September 28, 1960 to Claude and Gladys Westenskow in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dave served a mission honorably for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dallas, Texas and remained a faithful member throughout his life. Dave met his sweetheart, Karinne Sager, and fell in love immediately. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1993. Dave earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah while working for FedEx where he continued his dependable and hard work for 39 years until his retirement at the age of 62. Two years after his retirement, Dave was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer which he fought courageously and without complaint until his passing.

Dave is survived by his wife Karinne; children: Brandon (Jamie) Hunt, Karianne (Samuel) Jamison, Spencer (Shelby) Westenskow, Jessica (Rusty) Cluff, and seven beautiful grandchildren whom he adored. He is also survived by his siblings: Lorrie Westenskow, Sue (Gordon) Daniels, Alison (Evan) Bateman, Julie (Ed) Blackham, Janet Westenskow, Mike (Heather) Westenskow, and many nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doug Westenskow.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Noon at the Riverton 17th Ward meetinghouse, 12852 South 3200 West, Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:45am at the church. Interment will follow at the Riverton City Cemetery, 1500 West 13200 South, Riverton, Utah.
