David Wiley Obituary

David Eugene Wiley, 86, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on October 3, 2025. He was born on May 28, 1939 in Greensburg, Indiana to Elmer and Edna Wiley.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

He earned his Associates Degree from the University of Indianapolis. He was a member of University Heights United Methodist Church and Irvington Dance Club.

He was employed by Insurance Services Office for 46 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay Wiley; children, Mark (Beth) Wiley, Bryon (Viviane) Wiley, Timothy (Noell) Wiley and Gregory (Danyell) Wiley; 5 grandchildren, Paige, Marissa, Luke, Jane, and Ella.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

He will be laid to rest at Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Letts, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to University Heights United Methodist Church or University of Indianapolis.
