David Dwayne Wilkins, a magnetic spirit whose laughter could fill even the darkest of rooms, passed peacefully at home in Mannsville, Oklahoma, on February 25, 2026. Born on October 22, 1983, David lived for the moments that sparked joy and connection. He was a jokester at heart, always ready to crack a joke in a split second, leaving those around him in fits of giggles, their spirits lifted by his infectious humor.
David had a unique gift for bringing the family together, often turning ordinary gatherings into laughter-filled adventures. He loved to make bets with his loved ones, infusing every interaction with a playful spirit that made each moment unforgettable. His ability to create laughable memories with his family will remain a cherished legacy that binds them even in his absence.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Donna, and stepfather, Ernest Gonzalez, both of Mannsville. David leaves behind his brothers Ernesto Jr. and wife Shanna Gonzalez of Dickson, Jason Johnson of Mannsville, and Anthony Gonzalez of Dickson. The joy he brought into their lives resonates strongly, particularly through his beloved nephew, Colton Johnson of Mannsville, who will carry forward the legacy of laughter instilled by his uncle.
In his wake remain many aunts, uncles, and friends who were touched by his vibrant spirit. David will be fondly remembered not just for his jokes, but for the warmth he exuded, and the love he shared. Though he may no longer be seen, his laughter and light will echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him, forever reminding them of the joy that life can bring.
