David Hays "Elmo" "Dirty D." Wingrove, 47, of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 in McKeesport. He was born in McKeesport on April 24, 1978, to the late Ronald Wingrove, Sr. and the surviving Karen Ellisor. David is survived by his wife of 6 years, Sondra Wingrove of Clairton, mother Karen Ellisor, step-dad Harry Moore, children David Jr., Rashawn, Logan, and Shane, step-children Sonya (John Saccomanno) Pritchard, Barbara (Joe Whighman) Warman, Michael (Angel) Warman, siblings, Jessica Cole, Maryann Williamson, Ronald Wingrove, Jr., grandchildren Bryson Warman, Calista Warman, Joe Wigham, Jr., and baby Wigham, beloved dog Duke, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Wingrove, Sr., daughter Catherine, sister Jayce Crawford, and grandmother Maryann Richards. He enjoyed working as a scrapper and junk picker, talking to people and making friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs. Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
