David Wisbiski Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 8, 2026.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Leonard Wisbiski, who passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2026, at the age of 59.

David was truly a one-of-a-kind individual who lived life fully and squeezed the juice out of every experience he found himself in. His energy, personality, and presence left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.

In his spare time, you could often find him flipping over jet skis, taking his truck onto the sand dunes or doing something extravagant in a different state or country. He was a bit of a wild man, someone who valued freedom above almost anything else and believed life was meant to be lived fully.

Above all else, his greatest pride and joy were his children - Sabrina, Anton, and James and his beloved grandson Leo.

He shared many years raising his family alongside his former wife, Lisa, and together they created many cherished memories with family and friends.

David's love and influence extended far beyond his immediate family.

To many Dave was more than just a friend, he was a father figure to many and a mentor to others. He had a way of connecting with people, offering guidance, encouragement, and conversation that people will carry with them for years to come.

One of his favorite sayings captured his spirit well:

"I don't care about morals if you don't use them."

His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him, but the memories, laughter, and stories he leaves behind will live on through the many lives he touched.

Dear brother of Rose (Randy) Golec, Jimmy Wisbiski, Dan (Amy) Wisbiski and John (Connie) Wisbiski. Loving uncle of Jackie, Sara, Jason, Joey, Aaron, Lyndsey, Cassidy, Hunter, Paul and Deanna.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 13th, 2026 from 3:00–9:00 PM, with a blessing at 6:30 pm and a Sharing of Memories Service at 7 pm. David's funeral service is Saturday, March 14th at St. Peter Catholic Church 95 Market Street, Mt. Clemens. Instate 9:30 am until a 10:00 am funeral mass.

The family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
