It's been a very long time since I last saw Davida but I always had and still will have fond feelings for her. To everyone who feels her loss my best wishes.

Davida Goldman of Santa Monica, CA, formerly of Lexington, MA entered into rest on November 14th at the age of 84.
Davida was a devoted mother of Karin, Randi, Ross, and Dana and mother-in-law to Julie, Sandra, Zvi, and Jeff. She was a loving grandmother to Alec, Baruch, Bryce, Jack, Jared, Moshe, Noah, and Sienna. She was the cherished sister of Jon and sister-in-law to Barbara and aunt to Joshua. She was a beloved friend to many. Davida will be most remembered for her love for her family, art, and music. We will deeply miss her gentle and kind nature, her brilliant mind, and beautiful smile.
Davida grew up in Burlington, MA and attended Burlington High School where she was valedictorian. She was a talented artist. She was a classically-trained pianist and later became a professional ceramicist. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Fine Arts. She received her teacher's certification in art from Tufts College at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA.
Over the years, Davida instilled her love of ceramics in children and adults in the towns of Bedford, Belmont, and Lexington, MA. In addition, she operated a private studio where she designed and sculped her own stoneware. She was a member of the Cambridge Arts Association. Davida worked as a substitute art teacher in the Lexington public school system as well as an English tutor for the EDCO and METCO programs. Davida received her real estate license and practiced for seven years in Massachusetts, specializing in industrial and residential development.
We will cherish childhood memories of our trips to Gloucester beaches, her patience when we made a mess with clay at her potter's wheel, our extended family's trip to San Francisco, Drumlin Farm and sporting events with the grandchildren, and warm family celebrations filled with music and song.
May her memory be a blessing.
