Davie Ann Blankenburg, 56, of Amarillo, TX passed away December 29, 2025.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Davie was born April 3, 1969 in Amarillo, TX to Dave and Nancy Hernandez. She married James Blankenburg on January 2, 1988 at the Spurlock Chapel in Stratford, TX.
Davie was very spontaneous-she was instantly loved by everyone who knew her. She lit up every room and every person. She was a little naïve but extremely intelligent. Davie loved animals of all kinds and was a grandmother to everyone! She was so giving.
She is preceded in death by her son, Nathan Blankenburg.
Davie is survived by her husband, James Blankenburg; children, Daniel Blankenburg and wife Krista, Bryan Blankenburg, Joshua Blankenburg and wife Ciera, Samuel Blankenburg, Rebecca Reeve and husband David, Kristen Blankenburg and partner Darin Altamiano, Jenna Blankenburg, and Myriah Sanders; sisters, Laura Reynosa and husband Robert, and Kathy Trent and husband Stephan; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
