I was a pinsetter at Harmony Lanes in 1968. Denny was leadoff man for the best team in town. Denny,Walt, Kenny, Don and Rebel. I thought you were all God's. Couldn't wait for Thursday nights just to see the way this team was just all class! Thanks for the memories Denny and RIP.

Denny was a wonderful man...so many memories...like when he took my son fishing in northern Minnesota..it was raining and windy, but Denny told Chris he would help him catch a walleye.. Chris caught a northern and Denny took it off the hook and threw it in the lake, Chris was upset... So Danny told him he had to sing to the walleye if he wanted to catch one. He told him to sing to the walleye..of course now I can't remember it.. cuz we're talking nearly 40 years ago. Christopher did catch a big walleye and Danny filleted out so that Chris could take it back to his dad's house. Like I said, he was a great guy.. And then the next best memory was when his nephew Adam was born and Garnet wanted to be with me, so I called Garnet when it was time and I got the answering machine. No cell phones back then.. and then when I got to the hospital I called again and my heart kind of sank because I didn't think they were coming. Pretty soon walking into my room was Garnet and Denny... Garnet said Denny drove 90 mph to get to Sioux Falls so that she wouldn't miss the birth of her nephew.. those are the two best memories but there were so many more. I wasn't family but they accepted me as family and treated me as family.. Denny, you will be missed by every heart you ever touched because you had that kind of an impact on people.. Rest easy in God's loving arms.

Sorry to hear of Denny´s passing. I was lucky enough to have known him through bowling. One of the smoothest bowlers I´ve seen. I also knew Denny from the freight business where he was a great freight man. RIP my friend you´ll be missed.
