Dawlford Allen Obituary

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Ladonia Baptist Church, with Scott Rhodes officiating.
Mr. Allen was born on August 3, 1944, in Elba, AL, to the late Aubrey Gene Allen and Myrtle Hawthorne Allen. He was a hardworking man and a cowboy at heart who loved a good country song-especially one he could two-step to.
He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, and especially a cherished grandfather.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Wayne Allen (age 54).
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Allen of Smiths Station, AL; his children, Henry Allen (Lissa), Jolie Allen Hughes (Jon), and Lisa Deniece Allen, all of Smiths Station; his seven grandchildren: Jackson Allen (Jami), Jillian Allen (Dextin), Jarren Allen, Justice Allen, Javiar McKay, Brenden Flood, Tristan Flood and eight great-grandchildren: Bronxyn, Jane, Jace, Jasiah, Jemma, Kailub, Lillian and Adalyn along with many other beloved family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
Georgia Cremation-Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
