Dawn M. Bosshardt

Dawn Marie Sapio Bosshardt, age 54, of Danbury, Connecticut passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 surrounded by family and friends after a battle with lung cancer. Dawn was born to Joseph and Patricia Sapio on August 07, 1969, in Waterbury, CT. She then moved to NY where she attended St. Eugene's School and Sacred Heart. Many years later she moved back to CT where she resided with her husband, Greg.
Dawn worked most of her life in the food service and retail industry, most recently as a Bakery Manager. She loved to travel, read, shop, spend time with family and friends and help those in need. Dawn loved the beach and could sit for hours under the sun watching the ocean. Everyone that knew and loved Dawn remembers her as an avid cat lover. Dawn was always willing to take in a cat that needed a good home.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gregory Bosshardt, her mother Patricia Sapio, her father Joseph Sapio, her sister Dana and brother-in-law RJ Thomas, her beloved nephew Justin Thomas and niece Samantha Thomas, her brother and sister in laws Andre and Nora Bosshardt, Heidi and Wes Navaira, Brigitte and Tim Hostetter, her grandmother Carmella Caruso, Aunt Eileen Sapio, cousins and many lifelong friends.
We will never forget Dawn and will always hold memories of her in our hearts. We love you and will miss you forever until we see you again!
Visitation for Dawn will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Green Funeral Home 57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT 06812.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn's name to the American Cancer Society or Pet Protectors, Inc
