Dawn R. Brown, age 59, of Jonesville, passed away in her home on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1964, in Battle Creek to Theodore Daniel George Jr. and Phillis Ann McRae. She married William E. Brown on May 5, 1989, and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2015.
Dawn went to high school in Auburndale, Florida and went on to work numerous jobs over the years, her favorite was being a part of the parking crew for the Hillsdale County Fair. She enjoyed going for rides on four wheelers, and going for her daily walk with her dog, Destiny. Dawn loved to watch television, especially the shows Supernatural and Charmed. She loved a good vampire movie along with a fresh Cocoa-Cola to drink. Dawn spent all her spare time with her family, boyfriend, and pets.
Surviving Dawn are her mom, Phillis Moyer; her partner, Andy Bittinger; two children, Christopher Moyer, and Daniel George; sister, Lyn (George) McRae-Wrigglesworth; two aunts, Karen Hedin, and Patsy Simington; uncles, Jim and Jerry George; and cousins, Kimberly Moses, Linda Fuller, Sherry Parris, Debbie Prue, and John Brooks.
She is preceded in death by her father, Danny George Jr.; dad, Danny Moyer; husband, William Brown; and one sister in infancy, Diana Lee George.
There will be no funeral services for Dawn Renee Brown. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society. Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home.
