Dawn Wendy Cottrell

On Monday, June 23, 2025, a bright light left the world when Dawn Cottrell completed her journey and left her failing body behind. Her husband, Tim, and daughter Davinia were filled with her happiness at her escape from pain and suffering, but they will miss her physical presence. Her love will fill their hearts forever, and Doby is finally free.
In addition to her husband Tim, and daughter Davinia and her partner BJ Boyd, she leaves to cherish her memory her sister Sally Stones of the United Kingdom; and her faithful grandcats Munchkin, Belle, and Gabriel.
Her love for everyone and everything in the world was ever present, often showing her compassion to the shelter less and less fortunate, whether that be in human or animal form. She took in many strays of both kinds over her lifetime - always making sure that there was never a need for food, drink, or a warm and safe place to rest their heads.
At her request, there will be no formal services. But if you are to remember her, remember her for her kindness and compassion by extending the same to anyone or anything who may need it.
