Dawn Whitfield Krehbiel

Dawn Whitfield Krehbiel passed from this life on November 20, 2024. She was 55 years old. She was born October 14, 1969, to Billy and Judy Whitfield. Dawn graduated from Georgetown High School. During her senior year, she was Rodeo Sweetheart for the Williamson County Sheriff's Posse. She attended Austin Community College where she was certified as an Emergency Care Attendant (ECA). She worked at both the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and Texas Health and Human Services. She served as a member of the DSHS First Responders providing care to agency employees. She retired from State employment after 28 years of service. Dawn was also a volunteer Hunter Education Instructor with Texas Parks & Wildlife. She was an archery range officer for the Texas Youth Hunter Education Challenge and was a range officer for the Orienteering (Map & Compass) event at the National Youth Hunter Education Challenge in Raton, New Mexico, for several years. She enjoyed working with youth and teaching them to be safe hunters.
Dawn married Jeffrey Krehbiel on August 26, 2008, in Georgetown. They lived in Liberty Hill. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; parents, Billy and Judy Whitfield; brother, Shawn Whitfield (wife Tiffany); and beloved niece Victoria Anne (Tori) Whitfield.
Visitation will be held at Gabriels Funeral Home in Georgetown on December 7th from 10AM-12PM. Graveside service will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
