Dawn was born on March 21, 1962 in Mitchell, SD, the daughter of Jerry and Ruby (Shrake) Pattison. She grew up in Mitchell and graduated from Mitchell High School. She then attended Black Hills State College and earned a degree in art.
Dawn attended Stewarts Beauty School. When she finished school, she was an instructor and manager for Stewarts. She then took her well developed beautician and people skills to the Agape’ Salon where she operated her own booth for over 20 years.
Dawn married Greg Lambertz, Jr. on September 22, 2018 and they settled in Harrisburg. Dawn continued working at the salon until her health sidelined her just a few weeks before she passed away. Dawn passed away at her home on May 23, 2025 under hospice care provided by her husband and son.
Dawn will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her devotion to family and friends. She enjoyed keeping in touch by phone and Facebook.
Dawn enjoyed playing golf and loved animals, especially cats, and had several as pets over the years.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Greg, Jr.; her son, Austin; her mother, Ruby of Mitchell; and two siblings, Don (Cindy) Pattison of Bartlett, Illinois and Scott (Linda) Pattison of Chamberlain; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry.
