Dawn Miller

Dawn Lisa Miller passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2026, after over a yearlong battle with ALS. She is survived by her daughters, Brionna (Jason) and Macey; stepdaughters, Ashley (Trevon) and Whitney (David); and granddaughters, Avalon, Beckett and Dahlia. Preceded in death by her husband, Mitch Miller; and parents, Robert Cohen and Paula Rubenstein. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dawn later moved to the Midwest to start a family. She was blessed with two children and eventually, three grandchildren. She was known for her phenomenal cooking of Italian dishes, and her love for catering elaborate Thanksgiving meals for anyone who needed a place to be. She was family to anyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, all the way until her peaceful passing. She had a long battle with ALS and continued to show her tenacity for life through it all. She will be deeply missed yet never forgotten by everyone she touched. Funeral service 2:00 PM FRIDAY, March 6, at Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel, 126 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis MN 55404.
