Salina, Utah - Beloved mother, Dawna Jean Honeycutt, age 55, passed away on October 6, 2025 in St. George. She was born June 17, 1970 to James Max and Myrtle Julia Christensen Warenski.
Dawna graduated from North Sevier High School in 1988. She married Shaun Edward Honeycutt February 8, 1992 in Salina, together they had two children: Grady and Aubrey. Shaun preceded Dawna in death July 1, 2020.
Dawna loved playing board games with loved ones, she enjoyed Yatze, Bunko, and Monopoly. She loved spending time with her family, playing with her grandson, and loving on her pets.
Dawna leaves behind her children: Grady Honeycutt, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Aubrey Honeycutt and grandson: Carter Otterson of Salina; siblings: Tobbie (Nick) Lopez, Trish Houghton all of Spanish Fork, Larry Houghton of West Valley, Carrie (Paul) Brotherson, Valerie McCoard, Judylynn Warenski all of Salina; along with her beloved dogs: Luna, Taz, and Tonka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings: Chad Houghton, Kimberely Stickney, and Fred McCoard.
Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Elle Creek & Main in Salina from 11 AM to 1 PM.
