With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved De'Arrah Keilani Elizabeth Battles, who left us far too soon on November 15, 2025, at four months old. Born on June 27, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, her brief time on this earth was filled with joy, laughter, and love that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
De'Arrah had the most beautiful smile that illuminated every room she entered, a glowing light that captivated everyone around her. Her laughter and delightful kisses were gifts cherished by all, as she effortlessly brought warmth and happiness to our lives. De'Arrah lit up when she heard the familiar tunes of Minnie Mouse, a sweet reminder of her joyous spirit and childlike wonder that endeared her to so many.
She is survived by her loving parents, Queara Page and David Battles and sister, Ka'Miylah Battles. The profound love for De'Arrah transcends through her grandmothers, Chaunte Page and Melissa Gross, and her grandfathers, David Battles, Sr. and Rodrickous Johnson. Her great-grandmother, Tammy Page, along with aunts, Kei'Asia Page and Heather Rucker, and additional aunts and uncles, will forever carry the memories of her in their hearts. De'Arrah leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who adored her immensely.
Services will be held to honor De'Arrah's life on November 24, 2025, at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate her precious time with us.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that De'Arrah’s spirit will always be a shining presence in our lives. She will be forever loved and dearly missed, a sweet angel whose legacy will live on in the laughter and love she brought to us all.
