She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Battles. She is also survived by her daughter, Kim Watts, and grandson Phillip Watts. Sue was the daughter of George Thomas Myrick and Melba Marvalene Myrick. In addition, she has several living siblings including Mary Louise Snow, Latha Lucille Myrick, Rachel Diane Bush, Charles David Myrick, and Rebecca Herrington. Betty Ruth McConichie, James Thomas Myrick, George Edward Myrick, and Jimmy Jack Myrick proceeded Sue to their eternal home. She also had numerous brothers-in-laws, sister in laws, nephews and nieces.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Memorial Gardens, Loganville, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the services from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA.
