Dean Allgood

Jimmy Dean Allgood, 66, passed away Tuesday July 22, 2025. He was born October 30, 1958 in Iredell County to Jim Sharpe and Roxie Childress Allgood. Mr. Allgood worked for Reavis Welding, J.H Craver for over 30 years, and retired from REBB Industries. His favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, working in Garden, chickens, spending time with family, driving his Suzuki Samurai, and riding his 4 wheelers. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon Allgood, sister dale Weaver. Surviving are his wife of 45 years Darlene Renegar Allgood; daughters Crystal Allgood Brooks, Jennifer (Chad) Brode; son Daniel (Katie) Allgood; brothers Randy Allgood (Fiancée Lori), Shanon (Alison) Allgood, Terry Allgood; half-brother Isaac Allgood; half-sisters Darlene (Jackie) Jenkins, Bonnie (Steve) Williams; grandsons Landon Marler, Dakota Brode, Jace Brode, Colton Brode; brother-in-law Darrell Renegar; sister-in-law Elaine (Avery) Salmons; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday July 27, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Cornerstone Family Ministries in Yadkinville, NC. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM at the church following the visitation by Rev. Lenuel Lusk. Burial in the church cemetery. The family would like to sat a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mr. Allgood.
