Iron Mountain- Dean A. Anderson, 58, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
He was born July 24, 1966, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Ward and Rosemarie (Manganaro) Anderson. Dean grew up in Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School, class of 1984. He married Tena DelBello on February 22, 2003.
Dean worked for Billerud Paper Company for 27 years in the R & U Department. He was also a co-owner of Jean Kay's Pasties in Iron Mountain for the past six years. His passions in life were cars, restoring them and going to car shows, classic cars and motorcycles. Dean loved going to Elkhart Lake, Wisc. to watch motorcycle and car racing. There was not a car out there that he couldn't tell you the details on. Dean also enjoyed assembling old and new BMX bikes from scratch.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Tena Anderson; her two daughters, Kadie (Eric) and Jenni (Jake); his son, David and grandson, Braylon; one sister, Sarah (Robert) Pendleton, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and one brother-in-law, Kevin Snodgrass.
In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by one sister, Wendy Snodgrass.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate.
