Dean Burch Obituary
Dean Oscar Burch, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home.
He was born March 3, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Wilford William Burch and Bertha Blanch Schafer.
He graduated from Weber High School and then served his country in the U.S. Navy.
On September 22, 1953, Dean married Elaine Gailey in Hawaii.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and riding ATV’s.
Dean is survived by his wife, Elaine G. Burch, Ogden; children, Dennis Michael Gallegos, Pamela Burch Emmertson, Ogden; Vickie Jean Burch Cain, Sandpoint, ID; DeAnn Burch Whiteley-Lay, Hooper; Lisa Marie Burch Stucki, Hooper; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, June, brothers, Roy and Floyd and one grandson, Trent Jorgensen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Friday, March 31st from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
