Dean Edward Greer

Dean Edward Greer, 71, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born on September 25, 1954, in Kissimmee, Florida, to J.J. Greer and Clara Davis (Mema).

He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Mary Charlann Greer, of St. Cloud, Florida; his daughters, Jessica Pham, of Land O' Lakes, Florida, and Karen Gerstenberg, of St. Cloud, Florida; his son, Kevin Gerstenberg, of Gaffney, South Carolina; his mother, Clara Davis (Mema), of St. Cloud, Florida; his sister and her husband, Kimberly and Tom Donohoe, of St. Cloud, Florida; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dean was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a beloved Papa Dean. He lived with kindness and integrity, values he modeled daily and instilled deeply in his three children. Eccentric and funny, he was completely at ease with who he was and, in his later years, embraced a creative spirit, finding joy in self-expression and doing things entirely his own way.

He enjoyed his professional years in the swimming pool industry. This was his life's work. He was a master of his trade and the owner of his own successful, licensed company, Doc Dean's Pools, from which he retired 22 years ago.

He always described himself as "a jack of all trades and a master of none."

However, we call him husband, father, Papa Dean, and friend.
