Phyllis Ann Greer

Phyllis Greer, age 83, of Levelland, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 in Levelland. She was born August 18, 1942 to A.P. and Gertrude (Simpson) Fred. She married Richard Greer in Morton on October 3, 1964.

Phyllis wore many hats. She was a beauty operator and worked at the Chevrolet dealership. She then worked at the Cochran County FSA office for over 25 years. Phyllis was a member of the Enochs Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and three brothers, Durwood Fred, Buck Fred and Rickey Fred.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Dustin Lee Greer of Laredo, Texas; her daughter, D'Ann Baker and her husband, Mark of Whiteface, Texas; her six grandchildren, Natalie Waggoner, Nicholus Baker, Nolan Baker, Dakota Greer, Dylan Greer and Brooke Greer; and her six great-grandchildren, Braylie Baker, Macie Waggoner, Caydie Waggoner, Collins Baker, Banks Baker and Jaxon Roberston.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the New Mexico Children's Home, 1356, NM 236, Portales, NM, 88130.
