Alvin Dean Jones

On January 1, 1981, the Lord blew breathe into the soul of Alvin Dean, he was born to Viola and Alvin Jones, Sr. Dean, had a fun, loving personality, one to light up the room by his smile and charming ways. The love he had for his brothers was undeniable, and he cherished that bond deeply. Dean was the protector of his family, always looking out for those he loved. He had a way of making everyone feel so incredibly special. He took pride in working for Staybridge Hotel and loved the staff and management team like they were his family. He made a tremendous impact on so many within the community of all ages. He attended the Brazosport Independent School District. He was baptized at New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Frank James. Dean was truly loved and will be missed!!!

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Dean, being a father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 45. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Dean Jones, Sr., his mother, Viola Mae Quiller White, his grandparents, Nellie Jones, Willie and Margaret Quiller.

He will be forever remembered by his, daughters: Kimberly Johnston, Sole Jones, and Meraya Longoria; his sons Tavius Clark, Deshawn Jones, Jamal Jones, Jermaine Jones, and Isiah Longoria; his grandkids, Ar'Mani, Princetynn and Romyn' his brothers, Sandy Quiller (Cynthia), Carey White, and Patrick Hanson (Rasunda); his nieces/nephews, Kristopher (Klarissa), Anthony, Jordan, Darqueasha (Darion), Summer, Tarajh, Caliyah, Caylee, Cambri, and Ares; his aunts, Ary Wilson, Bessie Higgins, and Jacquelyn Coleman (Kirk); his uncle, Lawrence Quiller (Sandra). Special cousins: Elaine Ubernosky (Davie), and Yvette Higgins.
