Dean A. Kinsloe

Dean A. Kinsloe, 74, of Port Royal passed away on Saturday, February 7th,2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on October 29, 1951 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Russell Kinslow and Wilma (Dean) Heaps. On August 16th, 1979 he married his wife, Kristine (Traver) Kinsloe, with whom he was blessed to share more than forty-six years of marriage.

He is survived by his children, Curtis Kinsloe and wife, Lisa, Celena Dixon and companion, Randy Sheeler, Neanndra Zimmerman and husband, Mark and Keetha Kinsloe. He is also survived by siblings, Roberta Keiser, Wilma Weiand, Sonja Arentz, Russalee Yorks, Dave Kinsloe, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Gloria Swailes and Jane Schroeder.

Mr. Kinsloe worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh where he was a foreman. He liked to fish and hunt, during the day. Dean was someone who would tinker and could fix anything. He also enjoyed camping, gardening, family get togethers and loved to eat.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown with Pastor Charlie McKee officiating. Interment will follow in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Kinsloe's memory may be made to Kris Kinsloe at 201 Main Street, P. O. Box 18, Port Royal, PA 17082 to help offset unexpected finances.
