Dean C. Lewis, age 55, of Selbyville, DE died peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born in Lewes, DE and was the son of Teresa L. (Hudson) Lewis of Frankford, DE and the late Thomas E. Lewis.
Dean was a construction manager with Christopher Companies for many years where he enjoyed working with homeowners to build their dream home. He was also the proud owner of a lawncare business where he thoroughly enjoyed cutting grass and socializing with his clients. Dean never knew a stranger and would help anyone who asked. When he wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved steak dinners, going to the casino, and fishing. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Stacey L. Lewis of Selbyville; two sons, Dylan J. Lewis and Dalton D. Lewis, both of Selbyville, and his canine companion Miller. He is also survived by a sister, Holly L. Wingate (Rob) of Frankford, a niece Mackenzie Wingate and her two children Brixlynn and Evelynn, a nephew Brock Wingate, an uncle Sambo, and dear family friends Kristi (Kevin) Rowe and their two children Weston and Emerson and his sweet girl Ali.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison A. Lewis and his father, Thomas E. Lewis.
A private graveside service will be held at Roxana Cemetery in Roxana, DE.
Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
