Dean R. Mon, of Sea Girt, New Jersey, passed away February 15, 2026, at 78 years of age. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, to Manuel and Bertha Mon, Mr. Mon came to the United States as a teenager. After graduating from high school, he was drafted into the U. S. Army, where he proudly served his country in the Vietnam war. After completing his college education, Mr. Mon pursued his passion for building. He held many leadership roles in both New Jersey Association of Home Builders and National Association of Home Builders. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mon was preceded in death by Lisa Parnell Mon; and brother, Antonio B. Mon.
Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Catherine Mon, Maria Renee Zielke; granddaughters, Julia Zielke and Madison Zielke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Mon will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
