Dean R. Podschweit

Dean R. Podschweit, age 44, of Hot Springs, died Monday, May 7, 2007.

He was born on December 12, 1962 in Aurora, Illinois the son of Terry Podschweit and Karen Smith Podschweit. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Tom Bradford; his grandparents, Hubert and Lillian Podschweit, Ethel Linton, and Albert Smith; and one niece, Vanessa Reedy.

He is survived by his fiancee, Valerie Hudson of Hot Springs; his mother, Karen Bradford of Hot Springs; his father and step-mother, Terry and Vickie Podschweit of West Frankfort, Illinois; one daughter, Deanna Podschweit Stainback of Hot Springs; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Terri and Mike Hawthorn, and Cheryllin Reedy all of Hot Springs; two step-sons, Rusty Scoles of Marble Falls, Texas, and Michael Scoles of Hot Springs; two step-brothers, Rodney Podschweit, and Bryan Podschweit both of West Frankfort, Illinois; three grandchildren, Emily Scloes and, Caleb Scoles both of Hot Springs, and Tristen Scoles of Marble Falls, Texas; four nephews and three nieces, Vannah Reedy, Ryan Hawthorn, Blake Hawthorn, Jordan Hawthorn, Micah Hawthorn, Matthew Lawrence, and Erin Lawrence all of Hot Springs; one great-nephew, Preston David Dampier of Hot Springs; one aunt, Wendy Nightingale of Hot Springs; and three cousins, Marty Maxwell of Spokane, Washington, Robert Maxwell of Liverpool, New York, and Christiana Maxwell of Northglenn, Colorado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday evening.

Arrangements are under the direction Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
