Poveromo, Dean Gerard, 57, of Levittown passed away April 28, 2024. Beloved husband of 30 years to Geralyn. Loving father of Jessica and Anthony. Devoted "Dog Dad" of Gia. Cherished brother of Andrea Poveromo and brother-in-law of Thomas Gibney and Janice Totino (John). Adored uncle of Danielle and Christina Totino. Predeceased by his loving parents, Paul and Mary. Dear son-in-law of Arlene and Tommy Gibney. Treasured friend of many. Retired Port Authority Maintenance and Landscaping Supervisor. Dean was an all-around wholesome man, loving, funny, kind, caring, compassionate and selfless. Spending quality time with family and friends was always most important to him. Dean would drop everything for anyone who needed him. The family made many memories on their trips to Woodloch Pines, Hershey Park, and Montauk and their weekly Sunday Bagel dates. He loved quadding, fishing, golfing, and hunting upstate with his friends. Dean was a huge Jets and Yankees fan. His favorite foods were meat tortellini, lobster raviolis, fried calamari and mussels marinara. The family will receive visitors Thursday, May 2nd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, May 3rd, 10 am at St. Frances de Chantal RC Church, Wantagh. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
